Message But on an NA, you can WOT and it will go to 0 vacuum pressure. It the TT was not boosted (i.e. if the turbos did not work, assume there was no propeller blade), you could WOT and it would go to 0 psi as well. The only way to tell, engine vs. engine, is to run a TT motor the same as an NA, taking out the turbos and lines, and having a program written for 0 psi boost to run the engine.

Basically, you're looking at an NA motor with lower compression, as other members noted. The NA motor would accelerate faster, given all other even factors, based on the higher compression alone.

If you're asking based upon the testing the TT motor held at max 0 psi boost, the TT will be slower all day long, because, as you said, keeping the TT motor at 0 psi is difficult to do, and you can't open the throttle all the way like you could on the NA for max air/fuel mix in each cylinder.

Cheers,
JBrobst
